 Our IPTV Set Top Box

We supply the latest IPTV set top box complete with easy to use remote control.

All you need to do is connect to your TV via a HDMI cable and your Broadband router and your away.

We can pre configure your new set top box prior to delivery and even offer an installation service if required.

 

Our IPTP Set Top Box includes:

• MAG254 – IPTV HD Micro Receiver + manual.
• Remote, Batteries, RCA cable and Power Supply.

In addition you will need:

HDMI cable to connect from the STB to your television, you can connect via the RCA cable supplied but you won’t get full HD output.

RJ45 network cable to connect to your router.

We are able to supply both HDMI and RJ45 networks cables if you don’t have these available.

While it is possible to connect your IPTV device to your router using a WiFi adaptor that we can supply, we don’t really recommend this method. Depending of the speed of your WiFi router, streaming video to your IPTV STB can impact on the speed and the availability of the Internet to other WiFi users in the house who may be accessing the internet via computers or tablets.

 

If your TV is a long way from your router and a cabled connection is not possible, we can supply various solutions to extend your home network for a cabled connection to your IPTV STB. These include using “Powerline” adaptors…

Powerline or Homeplug adaptors utilise your home electrical wiring to distribute the network signal between adapters. With this method you connect one adaptor next to your router and connect via RJ45, next to your IPTV STB you plug in another Powerline unit and connect to you IPIT STB via RJ45 cable. You now have a complete cabled connection from your router to your IPTV STB…
