Optoma will introduce its first UHD DLP home cinema projector, the UHD60, plus seven new ProScene DuraCore laser projectors, at ISE 2017. DLP 4K UHD delivers an 8 million pixel image using 4 million mirrors. Each mirror is capable of switching over 9,000 times per second, creating two distinct and unique pixels on the screen during every frame to deliver full 4K UHD resolution.

Also incoming is a new 1080p gaming projector, the GT1080Darbee featuring DARBEE Visual Presence digital image enhancement technology, and an expanded range of NuForce audio products.

Aimed at gaming enthusiasts, the GT1080Darbee is a short throw projector offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 colour, dual HDMI ports, 3,000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio. Key attraction though is an Enhanced Gaming Mode with a 16ms response time.

The ZU850 is the new 8000 lumens flagship ProScene model. This WUXGA dual-colour laser installation projector with MCL technology (Multi Colour Laser) forms part of the DuraCore range, which combines longer-lifetime light source and an independent IP rated dust certification.

At the show, four ZU850 projectors will be dual stacked each producing a 16,000 lumens image, with content mapped onto irregular shapes and surfaces.

Dynamic Projection Institute, Projection Artworks, Tensator and Sensory Guru, will join Optoma at ISE 2017 to demonstrate the connectivity and creative capabilities of Optoma projectors.

A new professional 4K UHD projector, will also make its debut at the show. The 4K500 is a single-chip DLP design.

Optoma’s demonstrations will be organised into four zones: Innovation; Retail; Mapping and Home. Optoma’s Innovation zone will also feature a floor to ceiling high resolution edge-blended projection. This uses four 5,500 lumen ZU510T ProScene projectors installed at various orientations and two Optoma Chameleon GB-200 blend and warp processors.

A fully integrated plug-and-play mobile interactive projection system will also be on show. The Magic Carpet from Sensory Guru uses the Optoma X320UST ultra short throw projector.

A next-generation digital signage solution from Tensator will also feature on the stand. This new virtual assistant uses ambient light rejecting (ALR) technology along with an Optoma ultra short throw projector built-into the unit to project an image and create the illusion of a real person, acting as an interactive informational and instructional tool.
